AI has become so pervasive in our world that regulating its associated activities has become increasingly difficult. Its intersection with various legal fields further complicates the regulatory landscape. Even though existing laws such as criminal laws and data privacy laws regulate some aspects of AI, they often fall short due to their lack of specificity in addressing the unique challenges of AI technologies, such as difficulties related to algorithmic transparency, accountability, and the dynamic nature of AI systems.
